Beningbrough Hall

FAS Heritage have been working at the beautiful Baroque mansion of Beningbrough Hall for many years. We were involved in the restoration of the south bridge entrance, and more recently in the preparation of a Conservation Management Plan completed with a very detailed gazetteer to guide comprehensive rewiring works. We have also undertaken recording of a range of graffiti in the attic space scribed by 19th and 20th-century craftspeople, housemaids, and 1940s members of RAF, RCAF and WAAF stationed at Beningbrough during the Second World War.
