Bradgate House

Bradgate House is a 16th-century house and parkland in Newtown Linford, Leicestershire. First begun in the 1530s, and developed more fully in the 1550s, the house is the birthplace of Lady Jane Grey. The house was accompanied by a walled parterre and formal garden. Today, Bradgate Park is enjoyed as one of the most extensive surviving historic parklands in England. The now-ruinous house and gardens require maintenance, and FAS Heritage were engaged to investigate the history and repair cycles of the garden walls prior to structural interventions for long-term management.
