We were commissioned to undertake a Historic Buildings Assessment of St George’s Guildhall, King’s Lynn. The HBA went hand-in-hand with Level 4 metric survey of the historic complex of guildhall range and warehousing. Our work has revised understanding of the hall construction and early modification famously including the installation of a floor trod by William Shakespeare. Our work forms the keystone of understanding for future planning at the site at the beginning of a phase of cultural redevelopment.
